FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Do I need server knowledge to use it?

No. There's no SSH to open and no server panel to learn: the wizard creates the site, the database and the certificate, and everything else is operated from the same panel where your domains and email already live.

What if the site fails while it's being created?

It cleans itself up. If any step of the setup fails, the site is marked as errored and the resources already created are removed, so you're not left with a half-built site eating quota. The panel never marks as done anything the server didn't confirm.

Can I use my own domain or must I buy it here?

Either. Every site starts with a free plux.host subdomain, and whenever you want you connect a domain of your own — bought at Pluxion or brought from elsewhere. We publish the DNS records and issue the certificate.

Where are backups stored?

In Pluxion storage, off the server your site runs on. Each backup carries the full files and database, you can download it any time and, before restoring, we take a safety-net copy just in case.

Is bandwidth really unlimited?

Yes: we don't meter or charge for traffic. What is limited is the plan's storage, which you split across your sites by reserving disk for each one when you create it.

Can I deploy a Node.js app?

Yes. Connect your GitHub account, pick the repository and we deploy: we detect the framework, you manage environment variables from the panel and you can watch the application logs live.
