Frequently asked questions.

Do I need a plan to buy a domain?

No. A domain is a one-off purchase and you can register or connect it without an active subscription. What does require a plan is what you build on top: site hosting, corporate mailboxes and email marketing campaigns.

Do I have to use your DNS?

No. You can delegate the domain to our nameservers, which is what we recommend since we then publish the zone for you, or keep the DNS you already use. In that case we hand you the exact list of records to create, with values already computed for your domain and a copy button on each one.

Will my email or site go down when I move the domain?

Not if you follow the wizard. Before touching anything we read your current public zone — the domain and the most common subdomains — and show you what's published today. You pick which records to bring, we create them in your new zone and only then do you switch nameservers at your provider.

Is WHOIS privacy charged separately?

No, it's included on every purchase and every plan. Your owner details don't show up in public WHOIS lookups, and there's no box to tick and no extra line at checkout.

How can I pay for domains?

By card, with your organization's prepaid balance, or both: if the balance falls short we take what's there and the rest goes on the card. If you abandon that payment halfway, the held balance returns to your account on its own after 24 hours, with nothing to claim.

What happens as the expiry date approaches?

We email the organization's owner four times: at 30, 14, 7 and 1 days before expiry, with the exact date and respecting your notification preferences. Renewal with charging from the panel is in progress and is listed under "What we're working on".
