What to do if a payment fails

Notices, update the card, and resume service.

The notice

When a charge does not go through, Pluxion tells you in the dashboard and often by email. Do not ignore it. A failed payment can limit access to the plan or active services.

  1. Open the dashboard and read the Billing notice.
  2. Open the related email (check spam) and follow the safe link to the portal or Billing.
  3. Note the reason if shown (expired card, funds, bank decline).

Act the same day if you can. The faster you update, the lower the risk of interruption.

Update the card

  1. Go to Billing and open the portal or payment method section.
  2. Replace the card or method with current details.
  3. Confirm the billing address matches what the bank expects.
  4. Save the changes.

If the bank blocks international or recurring charges, tell them to allow the merchant. Sometimes the decline is not "no funds", but a security filter.

Resume

  1. After updating, use retry payment or wait for the automatic retry if the dashboard shows it.
  2. Confirm the subscription status returns to active.
  3. Open site, email, and domains to make sure nothing was left half-off.
  4. Download the invoice for the successful charge.

If after two tries with a good card it still fails, open a ticket with the attempt time and the last digits of the method (never the full number).

Tip

Put the billing email in an inbox you actually check. A missed notice is the most common cause of payment scares.
